Introduction to the Trading Gurus Course

We're going to start the Trading Gurus course on how to build your own forex trading system by making sure that you know what you are up against.

Maybe you've seen those health warnings on packets of cigarettes?

Warning – Smoking can be Hazardous to Your Health.

There should be a similar message prominently displayed on all the websites promoting forex trading.

Warning – Trading can be Hazardous to Your Wealth.

Can lung cancer kill you? Sure it can.

Can a MetaTrader "Robot" kill your bank account? Sure it can!

Those forex websites do have warnings of course. They're usually in tiny print at the bottom of the page. If you blink you'll miss them, but they are worth reading.

  • "Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk."
  • "You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose."
  • "It is possible that you can lose all of the money you deposit."
  • "You should be aware of all the risks associated with foreign exchange trading."

Amongst many other things that we will be covering, this course is intended to enlighten you about those risks. In fact learning how to manage risk is an absolutely vital part of anyone's forex education.

Let's start at the beginning. If you haven't already done so we strongly suggest you read this post on our blog.

It explains how forex brokers get rich while 95% of their customers lose all the money they deposit with their
broker. Follow the links too and download the document we refer too. See what else you can discover.

If you have any questions at this stage please ask them by commenting on that blog post, and we will answer them quickly. There's a box at the bottom of the page where you can do that. If you have a website or a blog please feel free to give yourself a backlink by filling in the "URL" box. Be warned though, that any comments that do not contribute to the debate or indulge in blatant advertising will be ruthlessly moderated out of existence.

If all this information hasn't put you off the idea of becoming a forex trader then please continue to read our
course, and our blog too. We won't be teaching you how to get rich quick. We'll start by explaining how to avoid being amongst the "95% that WILL lose their money". Then we'll move on to how to get rich slowly. In our view that is a far more realistic target to aim for than getting rich quickly.
